Garmin Fishfinder 340C (Dual Frequency)

Figured I'd include this product for all you fishing fanatics. It is the summer after all. Although not new, this isn't one of Garmin's highly publicized products. The unit measures 6.3 x 6.2 x 3.1 inches and comes equipped with a 256-color TFT display, over 15 user-interface languages and an ultra-dim backlight mode of nighttime viewing. What does it do? Basically, it charts the location of fish in the water (true to it's name). It even has alarms for fish size, shallow water, deep water and low battery.

For maximum saltwater performance, the Fishfinder 340C is configured with a dual frequency (50kHz/45-degrees, 200kHz/10-degrees) plastic transom mount transducer, for depth readings of up to 1,500 feet, and an attached 30-foot cable.

Need help with your fishing skills? This is the gadget for you, right after you shell out the $449.99 to pay for the damn thing.

Oh and, for all you winners out there who are going to ask "how does this relate to GPS tracking"?

Well, you are tracking the fish aren't you?
